About the Monthly Supporter System

  • Service name: Global MedCare Africa Monthly Supporter
  • Services: Continuous support for medical support activities in Africa and regular distribution of activity reports
  • Support period: Continues monthly (auto-renewal), can be cancelled at any time
  • Amount of support500 yen/month (tax included)
    • Initial application: Billing begins on the day of application
    • Recurring billing: Automatic payment on the same day each month
  • Fees required other than support amount: N/A
  • Timing of provision of goods and services:
    • There is no physical delivery of goods for support money.
    • Activity report emails will be sent once a month (around the end of each month).
  • Use of Support Funds:
    • Support for local medical activities
    • Cost of dispatching Japanese medical personnel
    • Educational support for local healthcare professionals
  • About Activity Report:
    • Frequency of distribution: Once a month (around the end of each month)
    • Delivery method: E-mail
    • Content: Reports on local activities, results of support, messages from local doctors, etc.

2. medical practice program

  • Role Title: Global MedCare Africa Medical Practice Program
  • Role: Provide practical training opportunities, related training, and support in medical settings in Africa. Program content varies depending on the duration of the practicum, location, area of specialization, etc. Please refer to the application guidelines for each program for details.
  • Participation fee (compensation for services): To be determined separately for each medical training program. Please refer to the application guidelines.
  • Fees required in addition to the participation fee:
    • As a rule, participants are responsible for their own travel expenses, local accommodation, overseas travel insurance, visa fees, etc. Depending on the program, some expenses may be included in the participation fee. For details, please refer to the application guidelines for each program.
    • Other costs incurred individually in participating in the program (e.g., immunization costs, personal expenses, etc.).
  • Time of service: The duration of the training period as determined by each medical training program. Please refer to the application guidelines for details.

  • Credit card payment:
    • VISA, Mastercard, American Express, JCB compatible
    • Apple Pay and Google Pay compatible
  • Bank Transfer: Bank transfers may be available for medical internship programs. Details will be provided upon program application.

  • Monthly Supporter System: Initial payment upon application, automatic payment on the same day each month thereafter.
  • Medical Practical Training Program: In principle, payment must be made by the specified method by the date separately determined after the application is confirmed. If payment in installments is possible, we will inform you of this in the application guidelines.

  • Refund Policy for Monthly Supporter Program:
    • Due to the nature of support money, refunds are not generally accepted.
    • However, refunds will be made in the following cases
      • Double payment due to system error
      • Erroneous billing due to an obvious error on the part of our organization
      • Damage caused by unauthorized use of credit cards
  • Cancellation of Continuous Support for Monthly Supporter Program:
    • Cancellation Method:
      • Cancellation from "My Page": Log in to "My Page" on this site → "Support Settings" → "Cancellation Procedure" to cancel the service.

        • Subject: "Monthly Support Cancellation Request
        • Text: Your name, registered e-mail address, reason for cancellation (optional)
    • Timing of Cancellation:
      • If you complete the cancellation procedure at least 3 business days prior to the next settlement date, you will not be billed for the next and subsequent payments.
      • A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you after the cancellation procedure is completed.
      • No refunds will be made for the current month's payment that has already been settled.
    • Notes on Cancellation:
      • After cancellation, the activity report emails will also be stopped.
      • If you wish to resume the service, you will need to apply again.
      • There are no refunds on a pro-rated monthly basis for mid-term cancellations.
  • Cancellation and Refund Policy for Medical Training Program:
    • In the event of cancellation of the medical practice program for which you have applied, a specified cancellation fee will be charged, depending on the time of cancellation.
    • Cancellation policies and refund conditions will be separately set forth in the application guidelines or contract for each program. Please be sure to check them.
    • The program may be cancelled or postponed if it becomes impossible or extremely difficult to conduct the program due to natural disasters, war, riot, epidemic of infectious diseases, orders of government authorities, or other reasons beyond the control of the organization. In such cases, we will contact you separately.

  • Withdrawal or Cancellation of Application:
    • Monthly Supporter System: As a general rule, this service is not subject to a cooling-off period.
    • Medical Practice Program: This program is a provision of services for a specific period of time provided at the customer's request, and as a general rule, is not subject to the cooling-off period. However, this does not apply in cases where it is applied in accordance with laws and regulations. For details, please confirm the document delivered at the time of conclusion of the contract.

<Other important matters (common)

  • Changes in service or program content: If there are important changes in service or program content, we will notify you in advance by e-mail and on this website.
  • Cancellation of Monthly Supporter Program: If you wish to cancel your membership, please follow the above cancellation procedure.
  • Automatic Renewal of Monthly Supporter Program Contract: This service is a monthly recurring service and will be automatically renewed until the cancellation procedure is completed. There is no automatic renewal for the Medical Practice Program.
